We needed to move

As we all now the economy is very tough. Tough enough that not as many candles are not being sold. We tried moving into a smaller location, but that is still not working. We need to cut out more overhead so we can make and sell our rich scented candles. We are going to make the candles at home and sell them in other areas. First place to look is at the flea market. You can also find our candles at "Around the Corner shop". We should hopefully find them in the next few days. And hopefully everyone will be doing better in the economy.

Flea Market

A lot has been going on in our lives since I last wrote. We opened in spot in the new Holmes County Flea Market in Berlin Ohio. http://www.holmesfleamarket.com/

We are really enjoying seeing all the people coming in to see the new flea market. I sure hope you can come in and see us and all the other great vendors.

Just a quick note. There is another flea market that opened there year between Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek. We are the flea market that is by Berlin and is behind Zinc's fabric.

Eating

So many people come in and ask where the best amish cooking is. There are so many great places to eat. One of my most favorite is Boyd & Wurthman. Not to long ago the power went out, so we went out to get some breakfast. The sausage and biscuts were so good, I could taste all day. Yummy.

The resturant is a great sit down resturant, that has a home town feel. Nothing fancy, but the food is good, and the prices leave you feeling good.

A new beginning

I am starting this blog because people always asking us for different things to do in Ohio Amish Country. You see we own a small candle shop in Berlin, Ohio http://www.harwoodsstore.net and we see a lot of great people. As we are asked about different places, I will start passing off the information to everyone else.

I will start with this great little store we bought just a few months ago. The economy might be slow, but we are making it with the great people that have come and seen us.
